Monotech

Monotech wheel are constructed of a special mix of neoprene that rejects almost every type of floor debris, is highly resistant to chemical and oils, and is capable of high load capacities. The soft tread durometer provides maximum shock absorption, offering a smooth and quiet ride. Monotech wheels are available in a variety of size, bearing, and tread shape options.

Thermoplastic Rubber

Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) wheels offer resistance to oils and chemicals and are a great alternative to standard rubber wheels. The thermoplastic rubber tread is mechanically bonded to the core to eliminate the possibility of tread separation. TPR wheels are available in a variety of size, bearing, and tread shape options.

Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU)

Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) wheels consist of a high-grade urethane tread mechanically interlocked to a polyolefin core. The urethane tread offers extended wear, protects flooring, and is resistant to chemicals and oils. TPU wheels are available in a variety of size, color, and bearing options.

Soft and Hard Rubber

Soft and Hard Rubber wheels offer a non-marking wheel option that can be used in a variety of applications. Hard Rubber Wheels offer high load capacity and impact resistance, while soft rubber wheels offer a more cushioned quiet ride while protecting your flooring. Soft and hard rubber wheels are available in a variety of size and bearing options.

No-Matic and Pneumatic wheels are some of the latest additions to the Shepherd Institutional Series. These 6” x 1-1/4” ball bearing wheels provide you with the shock absorption and smooth ride your product requires when traveling over rough or uneven surfaces. Choose from either the air filled Pneumatic Wheels (90 PSI), or the maintenance free No-Matic Wheels which offer the same great ride without the hassles of air pressure maintenance!

Phenolic

Phenolic wheels have high load capacity, are impact resistant, and are non-marking. These wheels are recommended for hand-pushed or power-towed applications on hard smooth floors or carpeting. Phenolic wheels are available in a variety of size and bearing options.

Urethane on Aluminum

The Honcho (Urethane on Aluminum) wheel combines a specially designed interlocking system with a unique urethane formulation to produce one of the toughest, most durable wheels in the marketplace. Sintered and Cast Iron Wheels

These 2” wide wheels are available in a rubber tread, urethane tread, or all cast iron construction. Where shock absorption and floor protection is required, a Rubber on Iron (for lighter loads) or Urethane on Iron (for heavier loads) come highly recommended. A solid Cast Iron wheel is also available for your heavy duty applications; all wheels are available in a variety of sizes.

High Load 3” Wheels

These 3” wheels offer high load capacities (1000 lbs. each) and high impact resistance. The precision bearing glass filled nylon wheel will make moving your heavy equipment a breeze. Choose from either a glass filled nylon construction, or an anti-static solid urethane construction.
